Design Transform: Multi-Scene Experiences

The high-level:

• The process is very similar to that of transforming a single artboard file, click the “Transform Design File: menu in your Creator Studio account and upload your file!
  

• On step 3, you will be able to re-assign artboards to specific scenes or even delete scenes you do not want in the “Manage Scene” menu on the right.

• If you are aiming to create a multi-variant experience (as opposed to multi-scene), you can click on the cogwheel in Step 3, as shown below. This will allow you to transition from multi-scene to multi-variant. For more information on uploading a multi-variant experience, click here!
  
  

• After that your extraction process is the same as it is for a single-scene file. You have the ability to validate each scene and then move on to the Final Preview Step.

  • Any scene for which no widget is converted will be left blank.

Best practices:

• Scenes of a single experience in Creator Studio must be of the same width and height so we highly recommend you upload a file where all artboards are of the same size.

  • If your artboards happen to be of different sizes, we will automatically add white space to the smaller ones so scenes stay of consistent size.

• More scenes means heavier content for your site. While there is no hard rule or limit, we recommend that you take that into consideration and limit the number of scenes you try to import into one experience. Don’t hesitate to contact your Customer Success Manager or our Support team for tailored advice.

• More layers on a file also means heavier content. Try to keep your files relatively “light”, avoiding too many nested layers and focus on adding the interactivity in Creator Studio to the elements that really count. This will guarantee smoother transformation of your file into an online experience.
