When building an Experience in Creator Studio there are various ways to piece and layer the content together. Layering effectively will allow you to organize items on the Experience so they’re easy to work with, just like you would in most other design platforms. This enables you to add depth to your content by moving items in front of or behind other elements.
Container Backdrop: Assigning a solid color or image that will be displayed both inside and around the Experience frame and expand to the viewport size. The Backdrop is applied to all Scenes. More information here.

Background: A static layer that sits at the back of the Experience. This is a static background that fits to and is applied to all Scenes. To add content to the Background, toggle to that layer from the Overlay/Scene/Background dropdown (see below).
Scene (s): This is the content canvas area where widgets are placed when designing the Experience. An Experience can contain a succession of scenes. More information here.
Overlay: A static layer on top of the Experience. Positioned on top of the Scene layer and applies to all Scenes. Useful when assets are common to the entire Experience (such as navigation arrow). To add content to the Overlay, toggle to that layer from the Overlay/Scene/Background dropdown:
