Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides reliable capacity and storage in the cloud. Using AWS ensures that Creator Studio is highly secure, durable, and its elastic storage allows us to scale automatically to handle unexpected spikes in activity.
The performance of a Creator Studio Experience on your website is in part dependent on the build of that site and where the prerequisite channel snippet is placed.
The Creator Studio snippet loads asynchronously. To get things ready quickly, it is recommended to place the this in the <head> section of the site, if at all possible. If you cannot edit the <head>, it may be placed in the <body> instead, but regardless we suggest you place the snippet as early on in the source code as you are able to without breaking things.
To optimize site performance, a Creator Studio Experience carries minimal initial load and is immediately cached. We load the first, second, and last scene at outset, then serially load subsequent scenes on-demand. The rest of the load will be directly impacted by the size of any assets (such as images) that are included in the Experiences.
This means that although it is still important to ensure assets are sensibly sized, there is no concern on the length or asset weight of the experience as a whole.
Large images can take a long time to load. Creator Studio supports the upload of high resolution images and will size down as needed so that they are optimized for viewing on all devices. Lighter-weight images help our experiences to load faster and keep mobile data usage to a minimum.
