Below is a list of frequently asked questions that we receive about Content Control, but please do not hesitate to reach out to our support team with any questions of your own!
- How do I access Content Control?
- Please contact your Customer Success Manager (or support@zmags.com if you are unsure who your CSM is) and they can work with our product team to get you set up from there!
- How do I publish an Experience via Content Control?
- In Content Control, you no longer publish Experiences - rather, you publish Content Slots (that have Experiences inside of them). That process is explained in more detail in the Content Control Overview article here
- How do I unpublish a live Experience in Content Control?
- We are working on a faster way to do this in the future, but as of May 2023 you essentially have two options:
- Remove the Content Slot code from your website
- In the same Content Slot that the Experience is in, create another blank Experience (preferably that is 1x1 pixels in sizing) then set that blank Experience as your live Experience in your Content Slot

- How do I delete Pages/Content Slots/Experiences in Content Control?
- As of May 2023, you are unable to delete these objects from your account, but this functionality will be enabled in the future. If you need anything deleted from your account ASAP, please contact your CSM or our support team who can work with our product team to do that for you.
- Where can I find the translation options inside of Content Control?
- You can either automatically translate your text, or import a CSV file to handle the translations for you, and the steps to get there are detailed in the following article here
